What I do:    I direct the University of Central Florida Victim Services program. The program provides a 24/7 Crisis Advocate and direct services to a diverse population at the University of Central Florida. Our community includes students (46,500), faculty and staff. I chair and host conferences, training workshops and provide crime prevention and rape risk reduction education. I write and administer grants, and supervise 5 full time victim advocates, two part time administrative staff and 7-10 interns and volunteers each semester. In addition to these responsibilities, I am also an adjunct professor at UCF and teach in the Criminal Justice and Women’s Studies programs, Vice President of the FNVWS, and the CRT Coordinator for the 9th Circuit.

Services Provided: 
 
Crisis Intervention, Hotline, Education, Outreach, Criminal Justice Process and Campus Judicial Process, Injunctions, Referrals to both on and off campus resources

Types of Victims Served: 
Students, Faculty, and Staff of the University of Central Florida

Counties Served: 
Orange/Seminole or as needed

Circuits Served:   9th Circuit

 Service Hours:   8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday

The Network now represents hundreds of individuals and agencies statewide who serve victims and witnesses.
